Health & Safety

PSAC employees fall under the Ontario health and safety legislation.
Ontario law requires the PSAC employers to have a certified union health and safety representative chosen by the Union. The employer must pay the costs of training this person.
The AEU is currently looking for union members in the components who would be interested in becoming a certified health and safety representative. Please check the list below to see if your component still needs a health and safety representative. Contact Marlene DeVeth .
If you are a member of Units I, II, and X and would like to take the health and safety training, please contact Marlene DeVeth.
